Dorman 698100 Transmission Shift Solenoid Review

Let me start by saying that the part that I received worked just fine, and it arrived in a timely fashion. But I ordered a new Dorman 698100, and I don't think that's what I received.What I received was a Borg-Warner rebuilt (I think) solenoid in a falling-apart greasy old box that was held together with packing tape...The box didn't say Dorman, the solenoid didn't say Dorman, and it looks different than the pictures I have of Dorman's part... But hey, it works great... I have no complaints, but there are a few unanswered questions about this order.

Fram PH16 Extra Guard Passenger Car Spin-On Oil Filter (Pack of 2) Review

Fram is the only oil filter I use on any of my vehicles! I used the PH16 for my 1994 Chrysler Leberon (120,000+ miles) and it worked great! This filter fits several different makes & models, so if you don't know if this one will work, check out their official website.

I used another Fram filter (since the PH16 doesn't fit it) for my '94 Honda Accord, and I noticed a HUGE difference in the performance between the Fram and the off brand one that was on it when I bought it.

The filters are also very easy to locate! Almost all auto stores carry Fram and some retail stores like Wal-mart.
