We live in Arizona and wanted this for the garage to help in the summer in the extremely hot weather. We feed stray cats and keep the door up approx 12" for them to go in and out safely.This cooler kept the temperature down on the average of about 10 to 20 degrees cooler than the outside temperature. We hooked it up to a water hose for continuous operation.We had no problems and when the season was over we just pressure washed the filters and let them dry for next summer.
