We bought this to use as intended per their instructions. The quality of this device is up there with the best. But, due to the fingers not having a sharp ledge to catch on the bearing's race to enable extraction, the fingers had to be filed down to create the shoulder needed. Otherwise, the fingers would just slide through- eventhough there was enough sideways force on the fingers, at one time we thought they were going to snap. We sent an e-mail to the company to let them know about the problem- but what we paid for the device, it was still a bargain.
