This is not a 6'x6' it is a 6"x6" little patch, nor is it in a roll as shown in the picture!The product may be good, but the listing is wrong.
This is great stuff! It sets up fast and bonds pretty much anything to anything else, including to glass. I have used it for repairs including the rear view mirror in our van, which had fallen off since the windshield repair person didn't re-attach it properly.
Our company uses it all the time to glue thermocouples in various places.It is extremely reliable and easy to use.
I bought this in order to seal some parts of my car's valve cover mating surfaces.The shop I paid for the timing belt service to be done did not do a good job.Valve cover gasket never leaked before, it started leaking after they put a new gasket.Obviously they did not clean the mating surfaces.I did the job myself since I did not trust the mechanics at that particular shop.It does not leak now.

Absolutely miserable product. The back has no adhesive whatsoever on it. Trying to wrap this around a pipe and getting it to stay in place is impossible. Imagine trying to wrap a strip of paper around an exhaust pipe. Its going to keep unraveling and falling to the ground - that's exactly what this is like. The package suggests tying it with string on each end and in the middle. Is that some sort of a joke? Did the creators of this abomination ever trying laying on their backs and wrapping a pipe with it with skiplates and whatnot in the way and then try to tie string around the ends of the wrap while keeping it in place with NO ADHESIVE? Complete garbage product, don't waste your time, money, or patience.
Description implies you are buying 2.4 oz of epoxy. When the epoxy arrives it is only 0.8 oz. At this amount it is very high priced.
Wanted black tape for a custom project and pic shows it's silver..wrote company about issue and no response. Poor customer service.
Its about two feet of tin foil with a glue backing and wire that is really hard to bend.Tin foil and some wire would literally workbetter.
This stuff might work with a sealer or something, but it sucks by itself.Especially if you still have a little bit of gas in your tank. Just sticks to your fingers instead of the metal.
put the plug in and left it for a few days then painted it over with undercoating and it seems to have seeled the hole in the bottom of the tank
While my house was being painted one of the front exterior light fixtures was accidentally broken off at the stem where the glass enclosure attached to the base. The fixture was made out of cast aluminum. I managed to attach the outside part to the base using a two-base epoxy but the stem for the light socket that holds the bulb wouldn't hold with the epoxy because I couldn't get them to match exactly and it was difficult to position the piece. I looked around for a different adhesive and discovered this steel reinforced epoxy putty, the idea sounded enticing. Bought a tube of the product and followed the instructions which basically goes like this, cut off a piece of putty to the size you think you will need then begin to knead the putty to a uniform color (the putty consists of an dark activator core and the outer lighter colored steel putty layer). I molded the putty around the stem and to the base, you have about 4-5 minutes to get the putty into position before it hardens to a hard metal. Worked like a dream. Recommended for those hard to achieve bonds.
I used this metal repair to seal up a small leak between two exhaust pipes that did not fit perfectly after securely clamped. I repaired the surfaces with agonizing thoroughness and went far beyond the printed instructions with care and precautions. I requires that the repair sits 18 to 24 hours. I let it sit 72 hours. It requires idling the engine for minimum of 10 to 15 minutes. I idled it for 30 minutes then let it sit for the rest of the day. Then I drove it slowly and gently on a rural back-road for about 20 minutes then let it sit again. I hopped in the van the next morning to continue on with my life. Within 2 to 3 miles the repair came loose and fell out. What a large waste of my time. NOT a good product. I have since used Permatex 80333 muffler and tailpipe putty at the leak and tightened a worm drive clamp around the area while still wet. This appears that it will have a better chance of being a more permanent, better repair and product [two weeks so far].
It doesn't really stick onto the cracked exhaust manifold/catalytic converter. The layer of Thermosteel I applied even cracked after it got heated. Its easy to take out too.
The first line of the instructions for the Permatex 09100 Plastic Tank Repair Kit says "THIS PRODUCT IS NOT FOR USE ON PLASTIC FUEL TANKS"It is NOT as advertized on Amazon. How do I get my money back?
This spray adhesive is more than comparable to the more expensive 3M product. The temperature rating of this spray adhesive means you can in fact, use it to glue headliner fabric directly to the underside of your roof. I used this product with some mylar faced foam insulation that is 1/2" thick (purchased from J.C. Whitney) and glued that insulation directly to the underside of my roof. As long as you follow the directions you will have no problems gluing carpet, headliner fabric or heavy weight materials like the mylar foam insulation I use to insulate and quiet my car. I was able to buy 2 cans of this adhesive, and paid less for those 2 cans than I would have paid for a can of 3M spray adhesive from local body shop supply stores or home improvement stores like Lowes or Home Depot. This stuff WORKS!!!
Item is standard Permatex. Shipping took forever. I'd advise going to a local store. It was just something I remembered that I needed while I was on Amazon, so I ordered it.....then for the next 10 days I wouldn't buy it at a local store because I was expecting it "the next day".
