Permatex 35013 Fast Orange Cream Hand Cleaner (Pumice), 14 oz. Review

I have tried many other products to get rid of the ground-in dirt my hands get from gardening (I don't like to wear gloves).I am into home improvement projects as well. I replaced my kitchen floor and built a patio of paver blocks....and Fast Orange made my hands look like "girl hands" again. Nothing comes close to this hand cleaner!One added suggestion:Get yourself an oxo scrub brush that is usually for dish washing and reserve it for your hands only. Use this to scrub in the Fast Orange and you can't lose!

Turtle Wax T-420B6 ClearVue Glass Cleaner - 32 oz. Review

This glass cleaner is the worst product ever created. It leaves streaks the size of Dallas all over the windows, and when you try to wipe them away, it just creates more. I had to re-wash my car just to get them to go away. I could get better results with a homeless dude, his spit, and a newspaper. Don't ever buy this because you will have a stroke from rage. I hate this product.

Permatex 25072 Fast Orange Hand Cleaner Wipes Review

As a general rule, I like the Permatex line of Fast Orange products. I've used a few different brands of hand wipes in the garage and these are the best so far. These towels are strong enough to hold up to your caked on greasy, oily, dirty hands (unlike some others I've bought at the local auto parts store that are like a wet paper towel), and they are great for cleaning tools afterwards. I am having a hard time finding these in retail stores now, it is great to find that Amazon carries them!

Turtle Wax T-280RA Liquid Chrome Polish - 12 oz. Review

I used this product to shine up the rims and step bars on my ram 1500. It worked fairly decent on the bars, removing some of the rust and made them shine. On the rims however, it did an ok job. The rims are still not very shiny, and there is still rust on one of them. This product only works on rust that is barely there. I would say that you should get it if you want the shine to come back, but if you have a fair amount of rust, this is not the product to use.

I repair manual typewriters, take apart my truck, fix my bike, and a whole bunch of other stuff all the time. My hands are always covered in grease, ink, or something else that's sticky and dirty. This stuff is the only solvent free (it won't tear your hands apart) hand cleaner that's ok for the environment, works better than the nasty chemical alternative, and actually leaves my hands not feeling dry and chapped. I use it everyday, it's the best.

Permatex 01406 DL Blue Label Cream Hand Cleaner Review

i'm so glad to have found this at amazon. the home improvement chains used to carry it, but the orange goop has replaced it on the shelves, and it's just not the same. years ago an antiques dealer recommended using dl hand cleaner to remove the build-up of dust, wax, polish and cigarette smoke residue on old pieces of furniture. can't tell you how many pieces i would have spent time refinishing had it not been for this product.

This tool is excellent for removing dried, caked-on compound/polish from wool buffing/polishing pads.Just a few short runs over the pad and all of the residue is dislodged and the pad is clean again!

It didn't get five stars because of the low quality construction of the tool and the shipping rate is astounding.How can shipping cost more than the product?It's constructed of galvanized steel sheeting with rivets, so I highly doubt the long term usability and quality of this tool.

I purchased this product to improve scratches on a glass door caused by my dogs. The scratches ranged from significant (could catch a fingernail) to minor surface imperfections. I followed the directions and in three separate sessions applied the product with a Makita orbital polisher operating at the recommened settings. The end result was there was no noticeable improvement in the window.I would not recommend this product.

POR-15 Inc. makes many different coatings for various purposes.This kit includes 3 main components: a bottle of MarineClean, which dissolves the old gas, gunk, and varnish that accumulate on gas tanks that have been sitting for a long time; a bottle of MetalReady, which neutralizes existing rust in the tank (converting it to a phosphate); and a can of the POR-15 tank coating, which will finish the job and leave your gas tank looking just like new.The kit also included instructions, a piece of pinhole patch cloth, and a foam brush.

I used this kit on a 1982 Honda CM250C that had been sitting for over 20 years! The inside was absolutely horrendous with rust and gunk.When I got to the MetalReady step, I found out that the rust had eaten through the tank in some places, seams and pinholes, stuff like that.Fortunately, the kit came with a patch kit; a small piece of thin cloth, that when soaked in POR-15, became an impenetrable patch.Now the inside of my tank looks absolutely pristine, completely blemish-free and sealed. Now I gotta paint the outside of the tank so it looks as good as the inside!!

One note: be sure to wear latex gloves - They're not kidding when they say this sealer won't come off!I had a 'metal finger' for a couple weeks!
