Danaher Tool Group KDS2031 Cutter Exhaust and Chain TypeTailpipe Review

I've just spent an hour trying to cut through a 2" piece of exhaust tubing, and this exhaust cutter has fallen apart no less than 5 times.It's barely cutting, and what it is "cutting" is threads, not a nice clean cut.It's almost impossible to get enough clamping force on this thing to even make a dent in the tubing.

I'm not sure where the "1/4 turn for a full cut" came from, but for sure it is not from reality.I don't know what I'll do now, as I cannot drive my car to inspection because of the huge slice in the tubing because the portion of the tube it DID cut is only about 90° worth.

The advertising for this product is false, and I will do my best to inform the other engineers and mechanics that I work with of the low quality of this tool.

Upper Control Arm Bushing Removal Tool Repair Ford GM Review

The previous reviewer noted this is only for changing ball joints, however, he was mistaken. The included directions are only for how to change your ball joints, but this kit allows you to use the press to change either. The notch cut out on the press and the fittings allow you to slide it onto the control arm shaft and press the bushings out. It took me 5 minutes to press out both on one control arm. If you look at ball joint presses, this is the same tool, with the exception of the notch which allows it to also be used for control arm bushings.

The press seems as well made as any tool made in China and worked well and smooth. The threads came greased and did not bind when pressing the bushings through the control arm opening. This tool was highly recommended to me and I would recommend it to anyone.

The tool shipped the next business day after I ordered it and arrived via FedEx.
