Danaher Tool Group KDS2031 Cutter Exhaust and Chain TypeTailpipe Review

I've just spent an hour trying to cut through a 2" piece of exhaust tubing, and this exhaust cutter has fallen apart no less than 5 times.It's barely cutting, and what it is "cutting" is threads, not a nice clean cut.It's almost impossible to get enough clamping force on this thing to even make a dent in the tubing.

I'm not sure where the "1/4 turn for a full cut" came from, but for sure it is not from reality.I don't know what I'll do now, as I cannot drive my car to inspection because of the huge slice in the tubing because the portion of the tube it DID cut is only about 90° worth.

The advertising for this product is false, and I will do my best to inform the other engineers and mechanics that I work with of the low quality of this tool.

Great Neck BB18 18""Breaker Bar 1/2""Dr. " Review

Great Neck had a great reputation for fine tools at one time, but this piece of shoddy Chinese-made junk shouldn't be used for anything other than stirring pots of paint.It has almost no relationship to the picture, except it's supposed to be 1/2".The handle is a bad cross-hatch on the bar, no raised handle area, and so poorly done that I wouldn't trust it with trying to break any nut. It'll just break, period. It's not a tool, it's a toy.

A breaker bar needs some integrity, and Great Neck should be ashamed for selling out.No more of its products for me.

These were some really nice looking sockets.Unfortunately I bought them from Amazon's used store (basically reselling things that were returned) and two of the sockets were duplicated, so I was actually missing two (I'm sure this is the reason it was returned, but I guess they couldn't figure out it shouldn't be resold).

I do plan to buy these again because they are such a great deal, and they look great.Just waiting until I actually have a need for them again.

Ingersoll Rand SK4C3F 1/2-Inch Drive 3-Piece Lugnut Service Flip Impact Socket Set Review

Like all of IR's impact sockets, these are beautifully finished and sturdy. It's nice having all four of the most common lugnut sockets in a relatively compact combo. The walls of the sockets are a little thick for some alloy wheels with small nut openings, but that's the price for a little extra strength. Lugnut sockets get more use than most impact sockets and need to have a little extra meat.
