Dorman 576-146 Fuel Tank Review

What a dissapointing experience.If you are considering buying autoparts through Amazon think again.Schuck's/O'Rielly allows you to purchase on line and return locally.This part has no other supplemental parts available for it.Dorman manufactured the fuel tank but there is no fuel intake valve available for this part.Dorman 576-146 Fuel Tank

The part was shipped with insufficient packing material.For some reason I was charged $21 for a return fee.The reason for return was a manufacturer problem.

Customer Service I have to say is very dissapointing.I live in Seattle where Amazon is based and I speak to someone in India who is trying their absolute best to get things done but they are bound by "big brother" on the procedure.I was told at one point the refund was happening in 2 days.2 days later I was told that it would be 7-10 more days.Through shipping (lonnngg process of receiving/returning and then they shipped it back with no explanation) and everything I am at the end of 2 months.

If you need an auto part, you need it now and if it is wrong you can work with a real person to get it for you now. It pays to shop locally.

OTC 7238 Air Conditioning Spring Lock Coupler Tool Set Review

While the description states it works for 1994 and newer Chrysler/Jeep vehicles...it does not.I tried it on my 98 Grand Cherokee, a friends 2007 Sebring, and a 2008 300. The coupling tool didn't work for any of them. While I did not try it on any 1981+ Fords, I'd have to assume it'd work for them since that's the only other vehicle listed.

Aside from them not working for my application, overall the product quality is not the best. Remember, it's plastic. Anyone who has done work with spring couplings will know that these won't last. If you're getting them for a one time fix (why I got these), they're good enough and cheap. Anything more than that, go with a better quality tool.

Haynes Repair Manual for 1996 - 2001 Nissan Pathfinder [Paperback] Review

I own a 2001 SE 4x4 Pathfinder and bought the manual so I could replace the spark plugs and oxygen sensors, along with having it for other general vehicle repair info.As for the spark plugs, it was useless.It also has repair information for the frontier and xterra.Spark plug replacement provided detailed information based on an engine other than the pathfinder and directions were basically as simple as if all plugs were staring you straight in the face and all you had to do was unscrew and replace.As for the oxygen sensors, it is about the same thing.I would look elsewhere before buying this manual.In fact, that's why I'm here... I'm online now looking for different manuals.
