This is not a good tool.The black handle came off mine almost immediately.I haven't even finished working the first dent with it yet and the nut that the slide strikes has managed to strip the thread off the bar.The threads are not well cut and I get the impression that the tool in general is made of too-soft metal.I'd highly recommend finding a different slide hammer.
