Holley 37-1542 Fast Kit Review

You need this kit, or something like it, to rebuild a Holley 1850 series carburetor.I had a bad experience with mine; I didn't notice that the gasket for the power valve came with 2 stuck together, so when I installed it, the two gaskets split apart, and allowed a huge fuel leak into the manifold.It took me a while to figure out why the carburetor was leaking so badly, thinking it was a bad (replacement) power valve.Of course the first time I took it apart, I broke all the bowl gaskets, and had to order another set.Also, the little O-rings that seal the transfer tube were very fragile, so I damaged those as well.So I had to get a full kit just for the two little O-rings, since I started to use the Moroso re-usable bowl gaskets.I'm much more careful taking it apart now.
