Actron CP5011 Panel, Trim and Molding Removal Set Review

A professional tool company,one that visits dealers and repair shops weekly,sells this same exact tool set for almost double the price...I bought the "pro" set several years ago for work and the Actron set last year for home.

There's also a similar set here,from Neiko Tools. It looks similar but they're not the same. A coworker has those and the plastic is harder,it does not "give" like the Actrons so you risk the chance of damaging interior panels.

One review criticized the lack of instructions for this set,no offense but if you can't figure it out you should not be working on cars.

Sylvania H7ST BP TWIN SilverStar 55-Watt High Performance Halogen Headlight Review

Bright and white as advertised.Longer wider beam throw as advertised.I felt it was worth every penny of the $50 I paid for it when I first put it in.Then, only four months later, the left bulb burned out.Reading other reviews with similar premature burnouts, I think Sylvania has a QC or design problem with the Silverstar Ultra series.this might apply to this Silverstar series also since the only difference is the color temp.

Chevrolet Cobalt & Pontiac G5 Haynes Repair Manual (2005 - 2007) Review

I have used Haynes books in the past for nearly all my automotive maintenance and this does not disappoint.If your looking for a book based on adding performance parts this is not it.However, it is a great book that shows maintenance procedures and detailed removal of other components like fuel system ect.I would recommend this book to anyone trying to save some money and not go to a mechanic.

Dorman HELP! 614-632 C Series Universal Quick Boot Kit Review

I installed this on a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4.My old boots were cracking, but not yet leaking, so the CV joint was good and I hoped using this product would be good maintenance.
Installation was difficult for a split boot.The supplied solvent glue has a tendency to dissolve holes in the boot when used in the amounts described by the instructions.
I just checked the boot after six months of use.The end seals are poor.The large end is leaking grease, and the small end seams loose on the shaft.
