Autolite AP3924 Platinum Spark Plug , Pack of 1 Review

OK - Its not Bosch. So if you are expecting Bosch quality, you are mistaken (even if the quality is perceived instead of factual). Then again, its not 15 bucks each (its 15-25% of that). I started using Autolite platinum about 5 years ago after being in a bind, and not being able to find a place open on a Sunday that stocked Bosch, and having a Bosch plug that suddenly quit working in my Volvo S80. I, sceptically, bought this type of Autolite and used it and was unexpectedly surprised. I guess dont knock it till youve tried it. Been using Autolite Plats ever since (This purchase was for my Mercedes). They do the job, and they do it well. Never had a problem. Lasts just as long. Gets fouled the same as Bosch, and it costs so much less.

Permatex 81343 Anti-Seize Lubricant 133 Review

Use this product if you're going to be installing spark plugs, cylinder head and exhaust head bolts for easy removal later. I'm a novice mechanic so this tube will probably last me a while, wish it came in a smaller tube and it included brush. Overall, its a good product, I'dbuy it again.

These things work very well.I have the car from hell- a 2000 Chevy Malibu (with the emphasis on MAL) that had a leaking lower manifold gasket.When I replaced the rocker arm bolts (steel bolts in an alumninum head) two of them stripped out- even though I was using the recommended torque.The helicoil repair took about fifteen minutes for each bolt, and have not failed again.

After breaking off the spark plug on my motorcycle leaving only the threaded part I started researching how to fix it. After removing the head and drilling out the old threads I tried to re-tap the threads to no avail so it was on to a new thread insert. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of a "coil" fix was shocked when I found out the price for the coil kits so I was very excited when I found the Save-A-Thread kit with solid sleeve inserts. It worked like a charm. I had the hole expanded, re-threaded and the insert in place in less than 20 minutes.
