If you want true detailed information and specifications then this is for you. Want to know what wire 86 in the PCM plug is? This will tell you. Outstanding electrical schematics with every wire number and color. Mechanical breakdown for every piece and part. Very good detailed troubleshooting sections for everything you can imagine. Costs more than a Chilsons or Haynes but it is also 6 times as thick and year specific. Worth the price in my opinion.

Ford is quite annoying for requiring these tools to get your stereo out, but thats not the point.I tried using coat hangers to pull out the stereo, but had no luck with that.With these, just popped them in and the stereo came right out.Quite easy to use.

FRAM PRA8039 Air Hog Round Filter Review

This filter is a direct replacement for a K&N.It is the same design which uses multi-layers of cotton and spray oil as a filter media.I've compared both side by side and have determined this to be a better quality filter by way of construction.This filter replaced the standard paper filter used in a 1999 motorhome with a Ford V-10, 6.8 L engine.This in combination with a large flow master muffler using 3 inch inlet and outlet increased the fuel mileage by approximately 2 1/2 miles per gallon.This is a significant increase. This trip was taken from Santa Fe New Mexico to Detroit, Michigan using a cruise control at a speed of 63 to 64 mph on the freeway.Other observations include a feeling of increased horsepower and smoother operation.I do hope this helps you in your decision on whether to purchase a product like this.Please keep in mind that these filters require periodic cleaning and re-oiling to keep them working efficiently.This filter was a much better buy here on Amazon as it ended up costing about 40% of the cost of a K&N.This filter can also use the K&N cleaning kit for future maintenance.

Haynes Ford Ranger Pick-ups (93 - 05) Manual Review

I used it to find the grease fittings, jack points, pcv valve and to review the chassis electrical diagrams because I'm having a problem with the chime tone.The manual has been great.I've been able to find out everything I need.I would recommend this as a good buy to a friend.

Haynes Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer (2002 - 2003) Repair Manual Review

First off, for you Mountaineer owners, you should know that the only Mountaineer content in this book is on the cover, and the odd "oh, this is the same on the Mountaineer" comment once in a while.

This is a very typical Haynes book, that goes into great detail telling you how to fix things you'll never need to fix, and skips over parts that you will.

That said, Haynes manuals haven't changed that much over the years, while cars have gotten far more complex. A great deal of car maintenance now involves dealing with computers and diagnostic scan tools. Haynes manuals cover none of that.

So while it helps with basic things like brakes, suspension and so on, don't expect this manual to help you do anything complex.
